Press invitation to the "Launch of the Alpine Bus" celebration

Ladies and gentlemen of the media,

After many discussions and decisions in all the districts involved, the Alpenbus is about to start operating. From the upcoming timetable change, the line from Murnau to Rosenheim will be served by an east and west branch, both of which will be connected in Bad Tölz. The Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district office is coordinating the implementation of the project on behalf of the Free State and the districts. The Free State is making a significant contribution to the financing.

The Alpenbus is the eleventh and twelfth bus line of importance to the state to go online. To mark the occasion, Minister President Dr. Markus Söder, State Parliament President Ilse Aigner, Transport Minister Christian Bernreiter and all the district councillors, constituency councillors and mayors of the Alpenbus region will be guests in Bad Tölz on Monday, 1 December 2025 .

We invite you to the press event at 1 pm. The meeting point is the forecourt of Bad Tölz railroad station, where there will be an opportunity to take photographs (Bahnhofsplatz 8, 83646 Bad Tölz). Afterwards there will be a press conference in the adjacent Sparkassenforum (Bahnhofsplatz 1, 83646 Bad Tölz).
