Date: January 22, 2026; 10:45 a.m.; Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District Office, large conference room

Ladies and gentlemen of the media,
We cordially invite you to the final event of the youth political education project "Kreispolitik für alle - verstehe, was zählt!" on Thursday, January 22 at the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District Office. The event starts early in the morning for the pupils, media representatives are invited from 10.45 a.m. to accompany the concluding workshops and the presentation of the results (approx. 11.45 a.m.).
In the workshops, the pupils work together with some district councillors and the district administrator on three tasks in various action formats, the results of which are presented to the plenum at the end.
As part of the project, young people were given the opportunity to get to know the work of political committees at district level and actively engage with democratic decision-making processes.
Task A - "Committee":
Pupils and politicians engage with the district committee, school and building committee, youth and family committee, social and cultural affairs committee and environment, infrastructure and tourism committee. The aim is to collect information on decisions made in recent years through questions and discussions and to present these creatively in posters.
Task B - "Look how you look" photo interview:
In an interactive photo interview, the participants react to prepared statements and questions with facial expressions and body language. The questions and statements were prepared by the students.
Task C - Discussion groups:
In small discussion groups, pupils and politicians exchange views on current topics from the district and beyond, such as youth participation, transport and social issues.
Two seminar parts of the four-part series have already been successfully implemented by the Königsdorf Youth Education Center with five different school classes from the district - with a remarkable total of 16 district councillors taking part. The final event is currently being prepared in the third part of the seminar with the individual school classes.
Note for photographers:
If the pupils are not recognizable in the photos, photography is possible.
