Event on November 25: "Inclusion around training" - New perspectives for companies, businesses and administrations

In view of the ongoing staff shortage and the challenge of filling vacant training positions with qualified young talent, companies and administrations are increasingly being called upon to find innovative solutions. One promising way to counteract this shortage of skilled workers is to promote diversity and inclusion in training. The integration of people with disabilities not only opens up new perspectives, but also contributes to the long-term sustainability of organizations.
In order to further promote this topic, the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District Office, in cooperation with the Single Point of Contact for Employers - Upper Bavaria Southeast (EAA), invites you to a practice-oriented information event entitled "Inclusion around training". The event is aimed at companies, businesses and administrations interested in integrating people with disabilities into the training and labor market. The aim is to provide participants with concrete options for action and valuable information on implementing inclusion in training.
The event includes the following program items:
- Jeremias Nowotny from Oberland Werkstätten (OWL) will present the IHK-recognized certificate courses. These provide a practical basis for specialist training and open up new prospects in the world of work for people with disabilities. He will also explain the various opportunities for cooperation with the OWLs.
- Astrid Schlegel from the EAA will present the comprehensive consulting and support services for employers. She will show how the EAA can support companies in all phases of inclusion and what measures can be taken to successfully integrate people with disabilities.
- Nicole Hawig from the Employment Agency will provide information on state funding opportunities that employers can use to support the training of people with disabilities. Specific funding programs are presented that can facilitate the integration process.
The event will take place on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm in the small meeting room of the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district administration office.
Registration is required by November 20, 2025 by e-mail to teilhabe@lra-toelz.de or by telephone on 08041 505-674.
