Senior citizens and participation

The Senior Citizens and Participation Department is part of the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District Office. It is part of Department 5 Social Affairs and Social Welfare Administration.

We are currently 8 part-time colleagues and are active in the areas of self-help, volunteering, participation for people with disabilities and senior citizens. You can find lots of information on these topics on the District Office website under Health and Social Affairs

We provide advice on the services available in the district and our colleagues from Mobile Senior Citizens' Assistance come to senior citizens' homes as required, provide advice and help organize the right support services. We also offer advice by telephone.

In the area of senior citizens, we not only record the structures in the district, but also calculate the need for care structures and try to provide impetus for missing support structures, partly through funding. The district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen has been planning for the area of "senior citizens" since 1991.
