Dr. Andreas Wüstefeld will represent the tourism sector on the executive board of the Upper Bavaria Munich Tourism Association (Tourismusverband Oberbayern München e.V.)

Munich / Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District. Back in late April, Dr. Andreas Wüstefeld was elected by a majority of the 16 members of the Advisory Board to serve as their spokesperson, and he was confirmed by the Executive Committee in mid-May 2026. As a result, our director of Tölzer Land Tourismus is now the official spokesperson for the concerns of the tourism sector on the executive committee of the Upper Bavaria Munich Tourism Association (TOM e.V.).

“I am pleased to bring a quarter-century of experience in local tourism in Upper Bavaria to the table. After all, it is precisely this synergy between political and technical expertise that sets TOM apart,” said Dr. Andreas Wüstefeld. It is precisely this close collaboration that will be needed in the future, as there are far-reaching issues on the agenda, such as securing long-term funding for municipal tourism and coordinating supraregional tourism issues and projects at the Upper Bavarian level.

In addition to the tourist destinations of Upper Bavaria, the advisory board includes the state capital of Munich as vice-chair of the advisory board, Bayern Tourismus Marketing GmbH, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria, Munich University of Applied Sciences, and MVV as the representative of public transportation.
