Münsing: Get a free energy consultation for your home today
“Check Your Home”: The county will cover the costs of 30 in-home consultations—registration is open through November 12
Münsing. How can you save energy at home? Is it worth installing a new heating system? And what renovation measures make sense for your building? Answers to these and other questions are provided by the “Check Your House” campaign organized by the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district in collaboration with the Bavarian Consumer Advice Center.
Private homeowners in Münsing can sign up for a free on-site energy consultation through November 12, 2026. The county will cover the costs for a total of 30 consultations.
During an appointment lasting about one to two hours, an independent energy consultant assesses the building’s energy efficiency. The focus is particularly on the heating system and the building envelope. Afterward, participants receive a brief report with personalized recommendations. This helps them better assess where energy and costs can be saved and which measures are suitable for their building.
This consultation isn't just for those who are already planning a renovation. Anyone who would like to get an initial overview of their home's energy efficiency and learn about possible improvements can also take advantage of this offer.
Here’s how to register: Interested parties should contact Felix Schreiber at the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District Office, either by email at klimaschutz@lra-toelz.de or by phone at 08041 505-632. Registration is open until November 12, 2026.
By registering, participants agree that their address and contact information—which are necessary for scheduling appointments and providing consultation—may be shared with the Bavarian Consumer Center and the participating energy consultants. After registering, those seeking advice will be contacted directly by the appropriate energy consultant to schedule a specific appointment. The Consumer Center’s energy counseling service is state-funded.
