Parents' evening on the topic of eating disorders

District of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen/Lenggries. On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, a parents' evening on the topic of eating disorders will take place in the auditorium of the Archbishop's St. Ursula School Schloss Hohenburg in Lenggries. The event starts at 6 p.m. and was organized in cooperation with the school social worker Regina Gascha and the ANAD e.V. specialist agency.

Liane Hammer, therapeutic director of ANAD e.V., will explain eating disorders and provide information about their causes, risk and protective factors in families and how to promote a positive family culture. She will also discuss the opportunities and limits of parental responsibility, how to deal with conspicuous eating behavior and how to reflect on one's own eating habits. It also provides information on contact points for problematic eating behavior.

Anyone interested can register by emailing jugenschutz@lra-toelz.de. The youth protection department of the district office and Regina Gascha are carrying out the "Sound of my body" project for the 8th grade of the Realschule and the 8th and 9th grades of the Gymnasium. After the parents' evening, there will be an opportunity to visit the accompanying exhibition. The project aims to provide preventative information about eating disorders and provide those affected with help.
