Postnatal care:
Grant applications can be submitted

Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District. Midwives can submit applications by December 1, 2026, to receive a “special payment for midwives providing postpartum care” for 2026. The Free State of Bavaria has awarded the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District a grant of 20,600 euros; the district is supplementing this amount with its own funds to bring the total to 22,888.89 euros. This amount is intended to benefit midwives who provide a certain level of postpartum care in the district.

In order for midwives to be eligible for the postpartum care subsidy in 2026, they must have provided postpartum care to at least 15 mothers whose primary residence is registered in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district, with at least three home visits for each mother. Midwives who have cared for at least 25 mothers will receive a higher subsidy amount.

The application must be submitted to the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District Office, District Administrator’s Office, Prof.-Max-Lange-Platz 1, 83646 Bad Tölz. Midwives working in the district have already been informed by the District Office. Midwives who have not received any information from the District Office are asked to contact Abteilung1@lra-toelz.de.
