Notices of funding for midwives in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district sent out

The funding notices as part of the allocations from the Free State of Bavaria for midwives working in postnatal care in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district have been sent out. A total of 12 midwives received a subsidy commitment for 2025, enabling the Free State of Bavaria and the district to support obstetric care.
The subsidy is awarded to any midwife who meets the requirements and has cared for at least 15 mothers in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district in the postpartum period with at least three home visits per calendar year. Midwives who have cared for at least 25 mothers are supported with a higher amount. The amount of funding, including the district's ten percent share, amounted to 789.96 euros each for one midwife and 1,579.93 euros each for 11 midwives. A total of 18,169.19 euros was paid out.
The funding decision for 2026 is not yet available. As soon as this is the case, the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District Office will again write to all midwives registered in the district and inform them so that they can submit their application for funding accordingly.
