New logo of the Tölzer Land presented
Bad Tölz - The previous logo of the Tölzer Land is already very old: a lettering from the 1970s, the word-image brand almost 20 years old. Back then, social media was still in its infancy and almost all internet use took place sitting at a PC in front of a screen. It was therefore high time to rejuvenate the Tölzer Land logo, not least to take account of new media usage.
It was not only the new use that was decisive for the new logo, but above all the barrier-free appearance: clear, easy-to-understand shapes, presented in high-contrast and with an easily legible font. The new logo was inspired by the logos of major brands, which all have one thing in common: they are easy to remember and recognize - and so simple that you can draw them in the sand with your big toe.
The Tölzer Land Tourismus team presented the result to this committee on November 28 together with Deputy District Administrator Thomas W. Holz in his role as head of the district's tourism working group. Colleagues from the towns and municipalities were particularly pleased with the new logo because, in addition to being barrier-free, it is much easier to combine with the town logos and is also fresh and modern. The typical basic elements of the Tölzer Land region from the previous logo that unite them all have also been retained: Mountains, hills, lakes and rivers.
The logo was developed by Tölzer Land Tourismus together with a regional agency, SUPERBUERO from Eurasburg.
