Notes
In accordance with the relevant regulations, examinations and assessments are carried out and corresponding reports, certificates and attestations are issued. It also ensures that no one is practising medicine without authorization and that the required notifications are made by members of the legally regulated medical professions. This department is also responsible for monitoring the movement of narcotics.
The majority of the appraisals relate to civil servants and in some cases other members of the public service (recruitment, occupational accidents, benefits), but appraisals are also prepared in the event of examination hindrances or facilitations due to illness or at the request of other offices in the district office.
This is also where all school health care tasks are carried out, in particular the reformed school entry examination (rSEU) and the vaccination book check in year 6.
As part of professional supervision, care is taken to ensure that no one practices medicine without authorization. Self-employed members of the legally regulated medical professions, e.g. nursing staff and physiotherapists, must register and deregister here, provide proof of qualification and liability insurance for their activities.
This is also responsible for monitoring the movement of narcotics, particularly through pharmacies, with corresponding on-site inspections. The carrying of narcotics, including cannabis as a medicinal product, during stays abroad, both in the Schengen area and for non-Schengen countries, is confirmed here.
