Hike with the rangers from Bad Tölz to Obergries
Along the artery of the Isarwinkel - nature that moves, wilderness under pressure
Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district. The Isar is home to countless species. While we as guests relax and unwind, nature comes under enormous pressure in the hot summer months. The lifeline in the Isarwinkel is much more than just a river.
The hike leads from Bad Tölz up the Isar, past the home of the little ringed plover. The trail leads partly along small, winding paths and partly along the well-developed Isar hiking trail. Along the way, participants will pass plants such as lady's slipper orchids, orchids and other native plants.
The group stops at the grazing project, encounters beaver structures and can be surprised by which water bird crosses the path. We ask ourselves what is hidden along the Isar that is not immediately recognizable or visible to the naked eye.
After a short break for a snack, we continue via the compensation area at Arzbach to Obergries, where we end the trail at the station.
