Press invitation to the presentation of the nature conservation rangers

Friday, 22 May 2026; 10 a.m.; Unterreuth parking lot on the B13, Gaißach

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The work of nature conservation rangers has evolved over the years: In addition to information and environmental education, their tasks today also include targeted species protection measures, area maintenance and, if necessary, sovereign action. In short, the rangers ensure that sensitive habitats are protected, visitors are informed and solutions are implemented on site.

We would like to introduce the team for the 2026 season. District Administrator Ludwig Schmid will welcome the team and will also welcome two new rangers to the southern district. A total of eleven rangers are on duty this year.

The event will take place on Friday, 22.05.2026, at 10 a.m.

The meeting point is the Unterreuth parking lot on the B13, Gaißach (coming from Bad Tölz towards Lenggries, 2nd parking lot on the right). The gravel bank is a short distance behind the parking lot.

In the event of bad weather, an alternative date or location will be set; you will be informed of this in good time.
