Invitation to a press conference on barrier-free living space design

Ladies and gentlemen of the media,

The question "Would you like to improve your quality of life?" is probably answered by everyone with a "yes". The fact that this is already possible in your own home becomes clear at the latest when it comes to barrier-free home design. In the run-up to the "At home at home" campaign weeks (May 4 to 24), which are focusing on the possibilities of self-determined living and life in old age throughout Bavaria, we would like to put the spotlight on barrier-free home design.

We therefore invite you to the press conference "Thinking about tomorrow today: barrier-free living space design" on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 10 a.m. in the Central Conference Room at the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District Office, Prof.-Max-Lange-Platz 1 in Bad Tölz.

In the appointment we present the various free advice services in the district. With the voluntary housing advice service and the accessibility advice center of the Bavarian Chamber of Architects, we have two advice services in the district that cover various aspects. You will gain an insight into the day-to-day work of the counseling service and learn how important early planning is for a self-determined life in old age.
