Press invitation to the lecture "Hearing together - successful communication with hearing loss" on October 1

Ladies and gentlemen of the press,

On October 01, 2025, there will be a lecture "Hearing together - successful communication with hearing loss" from 5-6 pm in the large conference room of the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District Office.

The presentation is the informative part of this year's exchange meeting of the representatives for people with disabilities and the senior citizens' representatives of the towns and municipalities. Due to the importance of the topic, the lecture will be open to all citizens of the district. We therefore ask you to publish a notice of the event in your newspaper.

During the one-hour presentation, the BLWG - Information and Service Center for People with Hearing Impairments will not only introduce the different degrees and effects of hearing loss, but also provide valuable tips for successful communication in everyday life. In addition, a brief overview of other aids beyond hearing aids and support services will be presented.

This evening's speaker is Christina Prahl, advisor at the BLWG - Information and Service Center for People with Hearing Impairments in Weilheim, which is also responsible for the district of Bad Tölz. BLWG stands for Fachverband für Menschen mit Hör- und Sprachbehinderung e.V. (Association for People with Hearing and Speech Impairments).

An FM system with a limited number of receivers is available. An FM system is a (mobile) sound transmission system for people who are hard of hearing. All participants who wish to use the FM system are requested to arrive approx. 15 minutes before the start of the lecture to make the necessary technical adjustments.
