Becoming a teacher - a profession with a future
Are you already a student teacher or have a university degree and are interested in teaching at a primary and secondary school in the current school year?
Then you can be employed as a trainee teacher (student teacher) or substitute teacher (with a university degree) with the desired number of hours at primary and secondary schools. You must enjoy working with primary and secondary school pupils and be willing to cooperate with teachers and educational staff.
As a substitute teacher, it is possible to work in the elementary school in the preliminary German course (language support lessons with pre-school children), DeutschPlus, in music subjects and in the additional support and differentiation lessons. In secondary school, deployment is also possible in the secondary subjects. In principle, it is possible to work full-time or part-time. Full-time at elementary school comprises 28 lessons (45 minutes each) per week and 27 lessons (45 minutes each) per week at secondary school. The number of hours for part-time teachers can be determined individually. In addition, there is the preparation and follow-up of lessons, conferences and further training. Supporting schools and their teaching staff in their further development, enabling pedagogically effective teaching through effective administration and considered deployment of staff, as well as offering parents and teachers competent advice - these are just some of the most important tasks of the State Education Authority, which is responsible for the direct state supervision of primary and secondary schools in our district.
The Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen state education authority is responsible for 21 elementary school and 9 secondary schools. There are also 5 private primary and secondary schools. We work closely with the district's three special education centers.
The state elementary school are attended by 4693 pupils in 207 classes. At the elementary school in Jachenau, Icking, Wackersberg, Bad Heilbrunn, Königsdorf and Gaißach, there are mixed-age classes in grades 1/2 and 3/4 (with the exception of Icking).
Almost all elementary school offer lunchtime supervision or extended lunchtime supervision with homework supervision. Open all-day care is available at two elementary school.
The state secondary schools are divided into 3 school associations, one of which forms a school association beyond the district boundary. Our secondary schools are attended by 1823 pupils in 81 classes. One school offers a tied and open all-day program, while two other secondary schools offer an open all-day program. Three German classes (MS Bad Tölz Süd, MS Geretsried and MS Waldram) and a practical class (MS Geretsried) complete the educational offer.
At all 9 secondary schools and 12 elementary school, youth social work and school social work support the educational program.
