The Ordinance on Sera, Vaccines and Antigens under the Animal Health Act (Animal Vaccine Ordinance) obliges veterinarians who supply vaccines to commercial or professional animal owners that are intended for use in animals to comply with the obligation to notify the competent authority (Section 44 para. 6 Animal Vaccine Ordinance) and to draw up an application plan that must be submitted to the authority and handed over to the animal owner (Sections 44 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 3, 44 para. 6 Animal Vaccine Ordinance).
