Agricultural gamekeeping; notification of the construction, expansion and operation of an animal enclosure

Anyone wishing to set up, extend or operate an enclosure for fallow deer, red deer, sika deer or mouflon must notify the relevant district office (district administrative authority) in accordance with the Animal Protection Act and the Bavarian Nature Conservation Act.

For enclosures of more than 10 ha, an additional hunting permit from the district office is required.
