New counseling service at the Office for Youth and Family: Procedural guide
Independent advice for young people with (potential) disabilities

District of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen. From February 2026, the new advisory service at the Office for Youth and Family at the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District Office will offer young people with or at risk of disability advice, guidance and support when applying for benefits.
Natascha Schmook is the new procedural guide for affected young people and their families. They often face challenges when it comes to coping with their special support needs. They are dependent on integration assistance from various service providers such as the district of Upper Bavaria or the youth welfare office in order to participate in social life. This is where the procedure pilot can offer help and guidance.
The most important points are explained in an understandable way and the support that is available is shown. The procedure guide provides specific advice on possible integration assistance benefits, legal and benefit entitlements, as well as the procedures for granting benefits in accordance with SGB VIII and SGB IX. She also helps with clarifying responsibilities and finding the right contacts.
The counseling service is free, independent, confidential and, if desired, anonymous. It is aimed specifically at young people aged 0 to 26 with a mental, physical and/or intellectual disability, possibly also an impending disability, as well as their parents or legal guardians.
The procedure pilot can advise those affected individually - by email, telephone, video call or in person. She can be contacted during office hours on 08041 505-692 or by email at verfahrenslotsen@lra-toelz.de. Appointments must be made in advance for personal consultations.
