Open day at the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen health department
Insights, hands-on activities and health checks on March 19
District of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen. As part of the nationwide Day of the Health Department, the health department of the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district office will open its doors to interested citizenson Thursday, March 19, 2026. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors can learn about the many different tasks of the health department and take advantage of various information offers and hands-on activities.
On-site services include blood pressure measurements, vision and hearing tests and vaccination booklet checks. Blood samples can also be taken for HIV and hepatitis C diagnostics. Appointments must be made in advance for these tests. Appointments can be booked online at: Open Day
The health department also provides information on various topics relating to health protection and prevention, including hand hygiene, dental prophylaxis, the reformed school entry examination and the Asian tiger mosquito.
Using elements from a sensory trail, children and families gain an insight into how our senses - sight, touch, smell, taste and hearing - influence whether food tastes good or not. The offer is part of the educational project "Get your senses ready - get a taste!" for nurseries and elementary school.
There is also information on addiction prevention, sexual education and pregnancy counseling. The crisis service and the social psychiatric service will also be presenting their work. There will also be two short presentations on the subject of family benefits.
In addition, infection protection training is offered (contribution towards costs 14 euros, appointment booking required).
The health department is looking forward to welcoming many interested visitors.
