Brief description
If you are transporting more than 60 liters of a non-bottled wine product, you need a wine accompanying document for each transport.Description
You require a wine accompanying document for the transportation of wine products that have not been bottled.
Wine-growing products are
- Grapes,
- Grape must,
- Mash,
- Wine,
- Sparkling wine,
- Sparkling wine,
- Liqueur wine and
- Fortified wine.
The accompanying document authorizes you to transport the wine products from the producer to the further processing or recovery point, for example to a winery. You are obliged to use an accompanying document.
Prerequisites
You will need a wine accompanying document in the following cases:
- They transport non-bottled wine products of more than 60 liters.
- You transport wine products in labeled containers of more than 10 liters that are fitted with a non-reusable closure.
- The transport route for winegrowing products is over 70 kilometers
- from the vineyard to the winemaking plant,
- between two plants of the same company,
- between the plants of a producer association.

- when using the digital procedure (eWeinBV): EUR 10.00 (once a year) plus EUR 1.00 per document created

Procedure
You can apply for the issuance of the wine accompanying documents in writing or online at the competent district administrative authority.
The accompanying documents can be issued in paper form or electronically.
You can obtain the five-fold accompanying document carbon copy from the responsible district administrative authority.
