Brief description
The Free State of Bavaria supports integrative daycare centers in covering their operating expenses.Description
Purpose
The funding serves to cover funding gaps in the operating costs of integrative daycare facilities to partially compensate for these hardship cases in facilities with a supra-local catchment area.
Object
Funding is provided for the operating costs of integrative facilities with a supra-local catchment area that are not covered by funding under the Bavarian Child Education and Care Act (BayKiBiG).
Beneficiary
Recipients of funding are municipalities and providers of integrative daycare facilities within the meaning of Art. 2 Para. 3 BayKiBiG.
Type and height
The grant amounts to up to 40% of the eligible operating cost deficit per approval period (calendar year), up to a maximum of EUR 10,000 per facility.

Prerequisites
Operating costs that exceed 1.5 times the state and municipal child-related funding according to the BayKiBiG are eligible for compensation.
The grant requires that
- the grant recipient receives funding in accordance with the BayKiBiG during the approval period,
- the municipalities concerned contribute to the operating cost deficit to be compensated in
- at least the same amount as the state grant under these guidelines,
- the integrative facility maintains an average employment ratio of at least 1:10.0 during the approval period,
- at least seven children with disabilities or at risk of significant disability attend the facility at the same time for at least six months of the kindergarten year,
- the facility is of supra-local importance.
The facility is of supra-local significance if the children with disabilities or at risk of significant disabilities have their usual place of residence (Section 30 (3) sentence 2 of the First Book of the German Social Code - SGB I) in at least three different municipalities for at least six calendar months during the approval period.
Deadlines
Applications for compensation of the operating cost deficit can be submitted to the approval authority in accordance with Art. 28 BayKiBiG within six months after the decision on child-related funding becomes final, but in any case by December 31 of the year following the approval period at the latest.Required documents
