Vaccinations; information and implementation by health authorities
Brief description
As a rule, the recommended vaccinations are carried out by doctors in private practice. The health authorities provide information on recommended vaccinations and offer standard vaccinations as a secondary (subsidiary) measure to close vaccination gaps.
Description
The public health department provides information about recommended vaccinations. It answers questions about the benefits of a vaccination, the disease to be prevented, possible side effects, vaccination intervals, vaccination age and necessary booster vaccinations. The yellow vaccination booklet can be presented as part of an individual vaccination consultation. Depending on local possibilities, there are additional digital offers from the public health department.
The public health department only carries out vaccinations to close vaccination gaps on a case-by-case basis, if necessary, as a secondary service to the doctors in private practice.
