Municipal property matters; information

The municipalities, counties and districts can decide within the scope of their asset management whether they want to buy or sell a property. It should be noted, among other things, that from a municipal law perspective, land may not be sold below its value and that in individual cases it may be necessary for the municipalities to put the sale of land out to tender.

Citizens interested in buying a plot of land can contact the relevant local authority directly to find out whether they are willing to sell.
