Waste management; information
Brief description
Responsible waste management is of great importance for sustainable development. Waste disposal is a mandatory task of the districts and independent cities.Description
Orderly and responsible waste management is not only of great importance for the protection of health and the environment, but also for the careful use of natural resources. This is especially true in densely populated and highly industrialized Germany. The following order applies:
- Avoidance
- Preparation for reuse
- Recycling
- Other recovery, including thermal recovery and backfilling
- Removal
In Bavaria, waste disposal is a compulsory task for the districts and independent cities, which can join together to form special-purpose associations. These public corporations must guarantee waste disposal security for citizens and businesses and thus perform an important public service task.
You can obtain further information on the disposal of your waste (collection, recycling centers, fees, etc.) from your district or independent city.Special information for - District of Bad Tölz WolfratshausenMonitoring the waste streams
