Department 25 - Office of the Expert Committee/GIS Coordination

The expert committees for property values are neutral and independent collegial bodies. Their bodies are the presiding member, the committee as a collegial body and the office.

The expert committees were created in 1960 with the introduction of the German Building Code (BauGB). The aim was and is to ensure transparency on the real estate market through an independent collegial body of real estate experts. This market transparency is created primarily through the collection of purchase prices and the standard land values.

The office of the expert committee receives copies of all real estate purchase contracts concluded in its area of responsibility from the notaries in order to maintain the collection of purchase prices. These are evaluated from a mathematical-statistical point of view while maintaining data protection and recorded in summarized form.

Standard land values etc. can be obtained on request from the office of the appraisal committee based in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district office.
