Save energy - reduce costs

The energy advisors at the consumer advice center can help you with these and many other questions. That is why the climate protection management of the district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen offers a comprehensive and independent range of advice in cooperation with the consumer advice center.
Free energy consultation hours in the district
Free energy consultations are held regularly:
- every first Tuesday of the month at the Bad Tölz District Office
- every third Thursday of the month in Geretsried
Here, citizens can obtain an initial independent assessment of electricity and heating costs or funding opportunities.
Individual on-site consultation
There is also the option of a personal on-site consultation directly at your home. Thanks to state subsidies, the personal contribution is just 40 euros instead of the usual 300 to 400 euros.
During this appointment, an energy consultant will analyze your individual living situation and show you specific ways to save energy, e.g:
- when replacing the heating system
- for renovation measures
- in the use of renewable energies
- or reducing energy consumption in everyday life
You will then receive a detailed consultation report with the most important results and recommendations.
Now is the right time for modernization
Replacing old windows can significantly reduce heat loss and cut heating costs by 10 to 20 percent in the long term.
The warmer months are also ideal for planning a heating system replacement. Without the heating system running, there is less time pressure, which means that planning and installation can often be implemented more easily and smoothly.
Free heat pump check
Anyone thinking about installing a heat pump can also take advantage of the free heat pump check from the Bavarian consumer advice center. Experts check up to three offers, evaluate the technical design, provide information on funding opportunities and draw attention to possible hidden costs.
Simply check solar potential online
The district's online solar register provides an initial assessment of the suitability of your own roof for a photovoltaic system. At www.solarkat aster-toelz.de, it takes just a few clicks to check whether the roof is suitable for a solar or solar thermal system and whether it can be operated economically.
This gives you an easy introduction to the use of solar energy and at the same time makes an active contribution to the energy transition.
