Information Session “Familiar Strangers” – Family Members with Dementia

Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District. When a family member is diagnosed with dementia, daily life together often changes fundamentally. Family members face new challenges and must learn to cope with these changes and the resulting stress. The Care Services Office of the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District Administration is therefore hosting an informational event on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., titled “Familiar Strangers” – People with Dementia in the Family.

The event will take place in the conference room of the District Administration Office in Bad Tölz, located at Prof.-Max-Lange-Platz 1.

Gabi Strauhal from the Alzheimer Society Isar-Loisachtal e.V. will give a presentation on this topic and will be available to answer questions afterward.
