Press invitation: Awarding of the certificates and plaques "Bayern blüht - Naturgarten"

Friday, October 9, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the main conference room of the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District Office, Prof.-Max-Lange-Platz 1, 83646 Bad Tölz

Ladies and gentlemen of the press,

On Friday, October 9, 2026, District Administrator Ludwig Schmid will present 16 garden owners with the "Bavaria in Bloom – Natural Garden" certificates and plaques in the large conference room of the district administration office.

As early as 2018, the “Bavaria in Bloom – Natural Garden” project was launched in the Free State of Bavaria with the goal of creating incentives to make Bavaria’s gardens even more vibrant and alive for plants, animals, and us humans as well.

The initiative is supported by:

  • the Bavarian State Association for Horticulture and Landscape Conservation, Inc.
  • The District Advisory Service for Horticulture and Landscape Management in Bavaria
  • the Bavarian State Institute for Viticulture and Horticulture (LWG)
  • and the Bavarian State Horticultural Association (LVG)

In 2022, Anika Dollinger, the district specialist advisor for horticulture and landscape conservation, launched the “Bayern blüht – Naturgarten” initiative in our district as well. Since then, all garden owners in our district have had the opportunity to participate and use the plaque to send a visible message about sustainable and ecological gardening practices. A total of 57 gardens across the district have been successfully certified so far. Anika Dollinger, the district specialist advisor for horticulture and landscape conservation, will discuss the implementation of the project in our district in more detail during the event.

We look forward to seeing you there and to your coverage, and ask that you register at pressestelle@lra-toelz.de.
