"Check Your House" is Coming to Münsing
Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen/Münsing District. Following the successful initiatives in Königsdorf and Eurasburg, the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District is now offering free on-site energy consultations in the municipality of Münsing as part of the “Check Your Home” campaign. A total of 30 free consultations are available for private homeowners and apartment owners within the municipality. Registrations are accepted from October 12 through November 12, 2026.
During the consultation, a qualified and independent energy consultant from the Bavarian Consumer Advisory Center visits the client directly at home. The consultant assesses the building’s energy situation on site and identifies customized options for improving energy efficiency.
Whether you’re renovating an older building or planning a new one, there are many factors to consider when it comes to energy-efficiency measures. An energy-efficient renovation can significantly reduce a building’s energy consumption and, as a result, lower energy costs in the long term. At the same time, additional measures can be implemented—for example, to improve accessibility, enhance safety, or provide burglary protection.
As part of the on-site energy assessment, the energy consultant focuses in particular on the home’s heating system and building envelope. The consultation lasts about one to two hours. Afterward, the homeowners receive a brief report outlining the key findings and personalized recommendations for action.
Free consultation for 30 households
Thanks to government funding, the out-of-pocket cost for such an energy consultation is normally 40 euros. The actual cost of the consultation is usually around 300 to 400 euros. As part of this special promotion, the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district is covering the out-of-pocket cost for a total of 30 consultations in the municipality of Münsing.
Presentation at the town hall meeting
The “Check Your Home” campaign will be presented at the town hall meeting on October 12, 2026, in the Pallaufsaal. Energy consultant Andreas Scharli will give a clear and practical presentation on current options for saving energy and energy-efficient renovations.
In addition, the Münsing Energy Transition Working Group offers the opportunity to learn about modern heating systems, such as heat pumps or pellet heating systems, from other homeowners and to hear firsthand about their experiences. Those interested can contact Muensinger-Hauscheck@web.de by email.
