Press release

Care support center in the district now fully staffed

The care support center in the district has been fully established since the beginning of 2026. Now with four employees, it not only performs the tasks of the care support center, but also continues the previous services of the Mobile Senior Citizens' Assistance. This means that advice and support is now also available to senior citizens who do not require care but still need help or guidance.
The employees of the care support center are assigned to the social areas in the district and are available to citizens there as contact persons:
Christine Wachhausen is responsible for the southern social area with Bad Tölz, Lenggries, Jachenau, Gaißach, Wackersberg, Greiling, Reichersbeuern and Sachsenkam.
Yvonne Maily looks after the Loisachtal social area with Schlehdorf, Kochel am See, Benediktbeuern, Bichl and Bad Heilbrunn. In Benediktbeuern, a fixed external consultation hour will be offered from February. The care support point will alternate with the specialist office for caring relatives and will be represented in the Bonhoeffer-Haus in Benediktbeuern every second Wednesday of the month in the morning.
Barbara Stefan is the contact person for the central social area with Geretsried, Dietramszell and Königsdorf. Gabi Strauhal is responsible for the northern social area with Wolfratshausen, Egling, Icking, Münsing and Eurasburg.
In addition, external consultation hours are offered:
In Wolfratshausen, the consultation takes place on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, starting in January.
In Geretsried, there will be an external consultation hour on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month as soon as the neighborhood office in Stein is ready for occupancy.
Prior appointments are required for all external consultation hours.
In addition to on-site consultations, home visits are also offered throughout the district if people who need advice find it difficult to come to the district office in Bad Tölz in person and the issue cannot be resolved by telephone or email. Personal contact is often particularly helpful for more complex issues.
The care support point can be contacted by telephone on 08041 505-123 or by email at PSP@lra-toelz.de. The office is located in the district administration office, Prof.-Max-Lange-Platz 1, 83646 Bad Tölz, barrier-free on the first floor in room 1.064 and is open to the public at the following times: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8 am to 12 noon and Monday from 3 pm to 6 pm.
