Ladies and gentlemen of the media,

As of June 1, boating on the Isar is once again permitted under the Public Use Ordinance. Nature conservation rangers provide information on the regulations, among other things, but their duties also include monitoring compliance with and enforcing the ordinance.

This coming Saturday, June 27, 2026, the nature conservation rangers of the Nordland District, staff from the Environmental Department, and the Wolfratshausen Police Department will be on site at 11 a.m. at the Ickinger Wehr boat launch to check whether boaters are complying with the regulations at the Ickinger Wehr.

We invite you to attend this event and see for yourself.

Please note that the inspections must not be interrupted and that the privacy of those being inspected must be respected.
