Representative of the municipality; appointment or election

The municipal council/district council can elect or appoint representatives who perform special functions in the municipality/district. In the municipalities, different municipal representatives can be found depending on the tasks of the municipality, requirements and local circumstances. These include, for example

Some of the representatives work on a voluntary basis. They are contact persons for citizens and may offer consultation hours.
