Brief description
The district administrative authorities are responsible for matters relating to the legal management of state education authorities.
Description
The school authority is jointly managed by the district administrator or the mayor (= legal head) and a school inspector for primary and secondary schools (= technical head). The area of responsibility of the district administrator and the mayor includes matters of a predominantly legal nature.
Matters of a predominantly legal nature are all matters whose primary purpose is to establish or determine legal relationships; these include, in particular, appeals proceedings, administrative enforcement proceedings, proceedings for administrative offenses, and the enforcement of safety and health regulations.
