Addiction; information on withdrawal treatment

Withdrawal treatment is the first essential step towards a life free of addiction. In Bavaria, it takes place in general care hospitals of all care levels, (district) hospitals and university clinics. Treatment is offered according to different concepts (e.g. withdrawal with strong motivational components). Detoxification falls under acute treatment. The costs are therefore covered by the statutory health insurance providers. Please bring the necessary documents with you to the therapy in consultation with the counseling center and withdrawal facility.
