The registry is responsible for the classification and management of documents.Description
Records management is an internal task of every public authority and forms the basis for administrative action. It is currently still mostly paper-based. Electronic file management will become increasingly important.
The registry is responsible for the following tasks in particular:
- Management of a file plan
- Appropriate file formation
- Assignment of file titles, file numbers according to file plan and file number
- Registration of documents
- Filing of documents in the registries
- Management of appointment and resubmission lists
- Monitoring the retention periods
- Disposal and transfer to the archive administrations
