Floods; information on the preparation of the municipal reporting plan
Brief description
The municipalities participating in the flood information service draw up reporting plans indicating which measures must be carried out by which authorities at which water levels. A reporting plan provides information on responsible bodies or self-help options.Description
The municipal reporting plan describes the measures to be taken (depending on the water level), the responsibilities and information channels, the contact details of all relevant departments and lists of available materials and equipment.
In order to ensure a smooth flood response, the municipal reporting plan is constantly updated. Experience from past floods is processed and structural conditions are taken into account. Support from aid organizations is also taken into account.
