Driving school branch license; application
Brief description
Driving school owners who operate branches of their driving school require a branch permit.Description
The operation of branch offices of a driving school (i.e. classrooms at locations other than the main operating location of the driving school) is only permitted if - in addition to the driving school permit (see related topics) - a branch office permit is available for each branch office. The district administrative authority at the location of the branch office is responsible.
Prerequisites
The classroom, the teaching materials and the training vehicles must meet the legal requirements. It must be ensured that the holder of the driving school license or the person appointed to be responsible for the management of the training company can meet the obligations under Section 29 of the Driving Instructors Act under the circumstances, in particular due to the number of branches or their physical distance and the number of driving instructors. The total number of branches should not exceed ten. In the case of joint driving schools, this regulation also applies to each partner.Deadlines
