Responsibilities
- Data protection; submission of a complaint to data protection officers at Bavarian authorities
- Data protection; assertion of data subject rights with a Bavarian authority
- Data protection; information, advice and monitoring in public bodies
- District treasury; local cash audit
- Auditing; local and supra-local auditing of accounts and cash of the districts
Notes
All Bavarian authorities that process personal data must appoint a data protection officer.
The data protection officer has the following statutory duties:
- Information and advice
- Monitoring
- Advice on the data protection impact assessment
- Cooperation with the supervisory authority
- Support for those affected
- Statement before the use of automated processes
- Statement on planned video surveillance
Further tasks:
- Implementing the reporting of data breaches to the supervisory authority
- Coordination in the implementation of the rights of data subjects pursuant to Art. 12 et seq. of the GDPR.
The District Audit Office carries out the cash audit on behalf of the District Administrator.
