Department 04 - Controlling

Controlling supports the management of the district administration office. By preparing and providing information, it enables the district council and the managers of the district administration office to effectively and efficiently manage the financial resources required.

Tasks:

• Supervision of cost and activity accounting
• Preparation of management data for the administrative management and district bodies through standardized reporting
• Implementation of the intermunicipal comparison

Transparency

A high degree of transparency was created as part of the administrative reform, which means that the administration and district politicians can be provided with management-relevant information at all times. This applies to the controlling reports (plan/actual value analysis - forecasting - time series), but also to the annual budget and budget preparation process and specific evaluations (e.g. youth welfare, asylum, job center, personnel costs, state fee income and cost coverage of state tasks).

Innovation ring

The district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen is a member of the Innovation Ring of the Bavarian County Council. Controlling is part of the Innovation Ring's business management project group and develops standards and guidelines. The results of cost and performance accounting are used to compare selected products and departments in an inter-municipal comparison. This often provides important information on the use of resources.
