Media Center

The Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen Media Center supplies all schools and educational institutions in the district with up-to-date teaching media.

The Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen Media Center lends media and projection equipment to all schools and other institutions such as kindergartens, clubs, associations and similar institutions in the district. Photos and films are also archived here.

Our tasks

The media center has the task of supplying the district's schools and kindergartens as well as youth and adult education facilities with AV media.
We offer training courses on a wide range of AV devices and instruction in the media center's online catalog.

We buy and lend films - specially produced for schools - that present a topic in a short, clearly structured, scientific and didactically serious way. A 15-minute film can be watched and evaluated in 45 minutes. If "a picture is worth a thousand words", this is especially true for the moving images of school films, which remain indispensable even in times of networked media.

The films are usually sequenced and have additional material for teachers and worksheets for pupils.

Authorized borrower

The rental of films and equipment as well as support and advice is provided exclusively for interested parties from the district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen.

Costs

Films are procured as a Kreisonlinelicense. This means that all schools in the district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen can download or stream them free of charge via our online catalog.

Our stock of DVDs is currently being liquidated.

Kindergartens, registered associations and private schools can also use the media service free of charge.
