Population figures continue to rise
District of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen. The population in the district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen continues to grow. According to the latest evaluations of the Bavarian State Office for Statistics, with the figures updated on the basis of the 2022 census, exactly 130,248 inhabitants were registered in the district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen as of December 31, 2024. This is exactly 461 people more than the previous year with 129,787 inhabitants.
Twelve of the 21 municipalities in total recorded higher figures. The town of Wolfratshausen recorded the largest increase with 191 inhabitants, followed by the town of Bad Tölz with 184. The growing municipalities also include Lenggries (+90), Gaißach (+81), Wackersberg (+45), Königsdorf (+27), Greiling (+23), Reichersbeuern (+12), Dietramszell (+7), Eurasburg (+6), Sachsenkam (+6) and Jachenau (+4). The municipalities of Bad Heilbrunn (-37), Benediktbeuern (-29), Bichl (-6), Egling (-56), Geretsried (-47), Icking (-10), Kochel a. See (-12), Münsing (-2) and Schlehdorf (-16) have fewer inhabitants.
