Invitation to a Press Conference for Open Monument Day on September 13

Ladies and Gentlemen,

On Sunday, September 13, 2026, the Open Monument Day will once again take place in Bavaria. The Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district will be participating again this year. A total of 9 monuments in the district will be open to visitors on that day.

District Administrator Ludwig Schmid and District Heritage Preservation Officer Thomas Lauer will introduce you to the monuments involved during a press conference on

Monday, September 7, 2026, 11:00 a.m. 

present it in the medium-sized conference room.

District Administrator Schmid will also use this occasion to present Thomas Lauer with his certificate of appointment. Mr. Lauer has been reappointed for another five years as the district heritage officer responsible for historic preservation and conservation.
