Winter circular hike with the rangers at the Isar reservoir - experience nature until dusk

When dusk falls and nature comes to rest, a special time begins at the Isar reservoir. Under the motto "When it gets dark, people can snuggle up at home - and nature can rest", the nature conservation rangers invite you on an atmospheric winter hike until the twilight hour - followed by a cozy stop "for a word".
The tour starts on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 15:00 at Amortplatz in Bad Tölz (in front of Café Love). From there, the trail leads along the Isar reservoir towards Ochsenwöhr - past wintry meadows, snow-covered banks and tranquil forests. Along the way, participants will learn exciting facts about the flora and fauna in the cold season:
What winter guests can be found by the water? What tracks can be discovered in the snow? And how do animals manage to survive in the frost and cold?
After around 7 kilometers (approx. 1¾ hours walking time), hikers reach the starting point again at dusk. Afterwards, a stop for refreshments invites you to end the day in a convivial atmosphere - and to ask the ranger all the questions you've always wanted to ask.
