New winter tours 2025/26 with the rangers and the area manager in Tölzer Land
Experience nature - even in winter
Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district. When the landscape comes to rest under a blanket of snow, nature in the Tölzer Land region shows its very special side. As part of the "Nature conservation starts with you" campaign, the nature conservation rangers and the area manager offer guided winter hikes. Participants discover fascinating insights into the winter flora and fauna, exciting stories from the region and quiet, often hidden nature experiences.
In the 2025/26 season, rangers and area managers are once again inviting visitors to take part in a series of winter adventure tours in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district. Each tour has a special theme and leads to impressive places between the Isar, Loisach and the edge of the Alps.

For centuries, man and river have struggled to shape the landscape. Between Icking and Wolfratshausen, the original wildness of the Isar landscape can still be experienced today. On this winter tour, participants explore the snow-covered river landscape and learn about the flora and fauna in winter.

The rangers and the area supervisor of the district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen accompany visitors through the valuable natural and landscape areas of the Tölzer Land. Their guided tours impart knowledge about nature conservation, biodiversity and sustainable recreation in one of Bavaria's most beautiful regions.
