Postnatal care: subsidy applications can still be submitted until December 1

District of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen. Midwives can still submit applications until December 1, 2025 to benefit from a "special payment for midwives in postpartum care" for 2025. The Free State of Bavaria has awarded the district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen a grant of 22,040 euros, with the district increasing this sum to 24,488.90 euros with its own funds. This amount is intended to benefit the midwives who provide a certain amount of postnatal care in the district.

In order for midwives to be eligible for the 2025 subsidy for postpartum care, they must have cared for at least 15 mothers who are registered with their primary residence in the district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen during the postpartum period with at least three home visits each. Midwives who have cared for at least 25 mothers are supported with a higher amount.

The application must be submitted to the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District Office, Office of the District Administrator, Prof.-Max-Lange-Platz 1, 83646 Bad Tölz. Midwives working in the district have already been informed by the district office. Midwives who have not received any information from the district office are asked to contact abteilung1@lra-toelz.de.
