The melody of wrinkles - a generational project for Bad Tölz

Bad Tölz. In August 2025, the volunteer office of the Bad Tölz district office and the contact point Alt und Selbständig of the Caritas Center Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, together with other partners, are implementing the innovative project "Die Melodie der Falten" (The Melody of Wrinkles). The aim is to promote realistic and diverse images of old age, break through negative stereotypes and strengthen the exchange between the generations. The project is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Labor and Social Affairs as part of the lagfa bayern's "Generations active together" project.

The focus is on a creative photo campaign aimed at the citizens of Tölz: Senior citizens are portrayed in everyday situations, which they work on together with young people. The resulting photos then serve as the basis for a musical interpretation, which is created by the young people with the help of artificial intelligence. This results in unique works of art that show the diversity and joie de vivre of all generations. The results are presented both in the press and online in order to raise awareness of the topic among a wide audience.
