Euregio SBM promotes marketing campaign for cross-border "Bergbus Eng"

District of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen. The district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, together with the Karwendel Nature Park and the market town of Vomp, is running a marketing campaign to promote the MVV regional bus route 369, the "Bergbus Eng". The aim is to raise awareness of the cross-border mobility service between Bavaria and Tyrol and to encourage more people to travel to the Rißtal valley in an environmentally friendly way.

The bus line connects Lenggries with the Tyrolean Engtal. For the first time this year, the entire route of line 369 can be used with the MVV and Deutschlandticket - at no extra charge on the Austrian side. The scenic route leads via the Sylvensteinsee lake and the Rißtal valley to the Großer Ahornboden. Hiking trails and mountain pastures can be reached directly from the bus stops. The "Bergbus Eng" therefore offers a convenient and sustainable alternative to private transport in the sensitive Alpine region.

The marketing campaign to promote the bus route includes online and print advertising, billboards and social media measures.

Die Euregio Schwaz/Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen/Miesbach (SBM) fördert die grenzüberschreitende Zusammenarbeit und Projekte im gemeinsamen Grenzraum. Im Rahmen der EUREGIO SBM konnte das Projekt „Bergbus Eng“ mit EU-Fördermitteln aus Interreg Bayern-Österreich gefördert werden. The project sponsor is the district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, partners are the Karwendel Nature Park and the market town of Vomp.
