District of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen. The funding for outpatient care services that operate in the district and provide care in the outlying communities in particular will be paid out in the coming days. A total of 22 care services will receive a subsidy for the year 2024, enabling the district to support the full range of outpatient care services.

Every care service that provides care to people in need of care in the district can be supported in two categories. On the one hand, the employment of nursing staff is subsidized in order to generally support the outpatient care structure. In addition, there is financial support based on kilometers. In the rural district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, there are places that are particularly difficult for care services to travel to, as all care services are more than 10 km away. To ensure that people can still be cared for there and at the same time the economic viability of the care services is not threatened, additional financial support has been available for many years for care services that take on this journey.

The district provides € 170,000 annually for this purpose. The funding is provided for the care provided in the previous year. A total of 22 care services with a calculated 251 full-time employees are supported. Over the course of the year, 98 people in need of care were able to receive outpatient care in places that require more travel. The nursing staff covered around half a million kilometers on the road
