Women's Fridays at the district administration office

The Women's Friday is a cooperation project between the health department of the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district office and the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district education center. The six events are explicitly aimed at women and cover different topics. The series starts on Friday, September 26, 2025.
Lectures and workshops are offered for four Friday afternoons. They deal with financial issues as well as how to present yourself convincingly. The aim is to empower women. The focus is on resilience, asset building, verbal and physical quick-wittedness, personal appearance and charisma. Registration is via the Kreisbildungswerkt Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen.

Why Women's Friday?
Women take on the majority of family care work. But they cannot assume that their future pension will be enough to live on. In the past, they were expected to look after their marriage and family. Today, they should and want to be successful in their careers. The expectations placed on women are enormous, as is the risk of overwork.
Event series takes place for the second time
These facts about the situation of women were decisive for the Kreisbildungswerk Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen e.V., together with the Equal Opportunities Office of the Bad Tölz District Office, to develop a series of training courses specifically for women last year.
The financial support of the Bavarian State Ministry of Health, Care and Prevention for women's issues made it possible to hold a new edition of the Women's Fridays this year.
The health department, as co-organizer with the district education center, supports the continuation and gives the Ministry of Health's annual topic of menopause its own Friday date.
